More Sensitive To Pain During My Period

Kabelo Call me!

Brakka, here I am again,

and again I have a lot Erzaehlenswertes go! Let's start with the longest and most challenging part, the lighter fare at the end:
.

Sven and I have recently Peter, met a man about fuenfzigjaehrigen from Zimbabwe, who came a few years ago with the Fluechtlingsstrom from his home country after South Africa and now runs an organization here that is for an improvement over the poor conditions for Zimbabwean refugees begins. These include among others, the almost human unlawful treatment by police forces, the high level of poverty (which was mentioned in an earlier paragraph about Marabstad), corruption on the part of authorities and the difficulties involved, to get at all official papers and to shed the outlaw status. I had situations where I have qualified Zimbabwean women with certificates in Accounting and anything else on the road (where they currently live) desperately begged that I give them any job - cleaning, cooking, shit no matter what, the main thing is working. This evening we have also distributed clothes to the refugees and talked to the people what again pretty crass digest was. "Why are you all coming here, if you of the South African government so badly treated and their obvious suffering?" "Because we are indeed bad, but compared to here, Zimbabwe is still hope. In Zimbabwe, for example, is not one to talk with us about our problems here already. "I think that for themselves ...
stands. But now back to Peter: really interesting it became as we have discussed one evening over with his policies and general information about his home and it turned out, that this Peter apparently occupies a higher Funktionaersposten the Zimbabwean opposition MDC party and even in personal contact with an opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai is (for those who follow the coverage of international politics more closely: that's this guy who was in the first quarter of this year, folded to the dismay of the international community of Mugabe's henchmen as pronounced). Anyway, the very personal insight into the states of Zimbabwe, the two intrepid adventurer Sven and Fabi has additionally confirmed in the project to go to this interesting, but crisis-ridden country - if possible even under Mugabe's rule, because the break does not seem to be more distant. Peter has also spread to people contacts through the countryside, we can likely use. That will of course not cozy package and I think my mother because of these plans can not sleep now, but I am of the opinion that all this can be an incredibly rewarding experience and one should use such an opportunity already. We also have ambitions to capture the impressions anyway, so the refugees here, there, plus the states, and is not written for the PowerPoint presentation at home, but the work may be published in the context of the organization. Well, now I stay vague sometimes, but Zee and I were there a couple of very interesting approaches.
.

Since the topic I just reflashing it's great and I would find if you can understand that, here are a (edited) Excerpt from Wikipedia:

The Zimbabwean government is struggling with a large number of economic problems that are due for the most part on the policy of recent years. That was the end of white rule in the 80 years expected by much of the population, land reform first delayed for years, then chaotically and violently carried out. By the wild expropriation of white farmers were farm workers, already one of the poorest population groups, instead of landowners to the unemployed so that they further impoverished. Followers of the party " Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) and others critical of the government Groups of people were intimidated, persecuted and sometimes killed. Thus, the government increase its direct impact on the rest of the country's population again and deprive the workers of the (political) influence of the opposition, mainly from the MDC. As the opposition, which had teamed up in the meantime in the MDC party, but further gained popularity, the government of Robert Mugabe has established a consistent dictatorship. Sun Justice and the media were brought into line, expression and freedom of assembly be dramatically and established a reign of terror against political opponents. was the view of the few approved independent election observers, consequently, both faked the results of the last two parliamentary elections and the presidential election in 2002 to a considerable extent. The following destruction of poorer neighborhoods with high MDC constituency suggested international waves. The circumstances of the election later that year led to the suspension of Zimbabwe from the Commonwealth
. Mugabe's term of office expires in 2008, probably is a candidate for another term of the now 83-year-old. Zimbabwe has an unemployment rate of 80% and an AIDS infection rate of 35%, experts appreciate the inflation rate for December 2007 to 10.000% (!), Life expectancy is one of the lowest in the world and leaving every day thousands of people.

requires Obviously a really good preparation to travel to Zimbabwe and we should find that it would be better because of the political situation but not to go there, then we will not enforce it too. Only if someone is worried;)

Back to the past:

Lesotho Our trip was absolutely the shit! On the one hand, such a poor country and unindustrialisiertes - overdeveloped landscape with little groups of mud huts scattered throughout, usually subsistence farming, cattle everywhere, and frequently no electricity and a barren soils - on the other hand, such a beautiful landscape that the nickname "Kingdom in the sky" richly deserves. Highlights included:
.
first Our first property, namely a small-town Rondavel (5 cabins) hidden behind a mountain summit away from civilization, to which one had to walk first. Without electricity and running water, but breathtaking vision, apart from the wind total silence, a small stream to quench your thirst and real ice in Africa. Three people, all alone 3,400 meters above sea level. Geiler not!
.
second When you take a break on a mountain climb, where you can get from a guy with a rifle instructed to turn back. But then it will be brought back again and enjoy the view from the highest peaks of the surrounding area. The guy has lived there for some time in solitude and take care of a communication station of South Africa. It totally reminds me of the scene from the third "Lord of the Rings movie where they ignite the beacon, and whoever knows the movie, know what I mean.
.
third No matter where one breaks forth, of the people with their traditional colorful blankets wrapped, the shepherd, the children - will be greeted warmly by all the people and get a real Willkommenseingefuehl. This really was a significant Increase to the already over-friendly South Africans.
.
4th The visit to the grave of King Moshoeshoe I, folk hero, who created the Kingdom of Lesotho and it successfully against Zulus, Boers and defended whatever. Prominently situated on a plateau with a wild (?) Horses, and again great views.
.
5th Mountains are high drive in first gear. At a walking pace. By creating serious doubts whether wirs. And then do it! What a hot truck we have there, unbelievable ...
.
A ONCLUDING Conclusion: Highly recommendable destination fits, some good in the stereotype image that you have as Durchschnittseuropaeer of Africa, while some totally "different" and if you can be inspired for beautiful scenery, then in any case perfectly. Of expense for three days, including overnight stays, food, gas, border control, etc. - about 60 €!

The Soweto Festival was however disappointing and difficult to Soweto because even I have really seen nothing. But at some point I will still go there anyway with Sibusiso (from the Salvokop) for a few days.
.

Networking also works well in South Africa, after the rather short time here we have several "Friends of" and thus a degree of choice and variety of social contacts. So I have now for most "emergencies" someone who can help - to repair cars, crafts, computer stuff, dancers, "girl" - as well as some points of contact for any travel. But so far it actually goes really far in only two cases: in addition to Sven, with whom I so understand better every day anyway, I would Zee (she teaches poetry at the SOCA) call first real South African friend. Is definitely good to have something.
. "networker" Otherwise We also in other directions, so Sven and I had time to kill on a Wednesday or spontaneously in a relatively trendy bar for a few beers. It was a private release party, but after a bit blah in and we could have for the first time really getting the black upper class to face, including the very hard-Schicki Micki-queens. Since I can now check off another item on the to-do list of life. "Consider two incredibly gay Africans dancing. Done! In the course of the evening was even the manager of the shed and presented at next evening when we are out - I'm a hustler, baby - even the music at the end was changed according to our wishes and the manager was hanging with us. Do not ask me how it has come to all this, however good it is for sure!
.
This weekend I've done the first time in any case the mandatory trip to the Game Reserve. Along the way, our team (16 people - German, African, one Chinese, one American, a Coloured) a trip to a huge Buddhist temple made, which although was in some ways a little strange, it's not necessarily the most typical for Africa, on the other hand also impressive.
.
Then it went over the Huckels roads I've traveled, including race and puddles-hopping in the direction the "Ezemvelo Game Reserves.
.
"Yeah dependent, with the rhinos and giraffes, mo'fucka" I thought at first, but in point of animals was not just the park so hot and we have to keep zebras, warthogs, ostriches, buffalo, kudu and Springboks seen, but from the "Big Five" was not a trace. Anyway, we thought we do, we keep a nice evening with "braai" (= BBQ) and beer - until then things started to rain on streams, the wind was a tent was dismantled and we surprised totally to the cars had to flee . Result was then a very wet, but fun night ... very, very fun night;)
.
The next day it was then - Oppikoppi in my mind - mainly hang out at the camp, but as the culmination of the so-called "Fufu fly. This is a wire rope is stretched from a hill above a lake and where to go down seilbahnmaeesig. Nix with central European safety standards, you simply climb up the hill, hang a your role and off you go. If you fall off, bad luck. What we have is still laughing at first but then really happened, as the Zee could no longer hold, and for a (perceived) mehrsekuendigem case is about three feet slammed down the shore. Big shock, shouting and so on, But for the height of the case the whole thing was actually still relatively happy, because although much sprained, but nothing is broken. If it were only a second or two earlier fallen, it would have definitely can give a different ending. Despite the incident, but it was - even without the animals - a cool thing!
.

the next really big trip will take place in any case, if Sven is girlfriend in two weeks, for tours then we spent a week over the Kruger National Park to Swaziland, experience eventually correct African Stadtgefuehl in Maputo (the city scenes Blood Diamond was filmed there) and chill on the beautiful beaches of Mozambique. Big plans, baby!
. Compared to travel and politics that perhaps now plenty of sound unspectacular, but the renovation work at the SOCA is an intense experience for me. can make from a fucked up wall is a nice wall to be really, really damn unnerving. Since I already am not the gifted yourself, I was occasionally close to despair, particularly as I have spent my entire weekend before last with pranks. Thanks to strong support from Solly (who has recently shown me his bullet scars), Zee and especially Sven makes the renovation but also have fun and I hope from the premises in the near term to make a really nice place where the creative energies flow only pretending.
.
had on Friday but I find that my iPod was stolen from the SOCA and so I made it just two months to keep him, what a success. Although it belongs to me and eigenlich the material loss is relatively unimportant, just because I was so set in advance to. My real problem with the situation is that it is frustrating when you put your energy into a project like SOCA and you will be robbed of them benefiting the people. Whatever, life goes on and a new iPod you can buy.
. What I also wanted to mention, in any case time is the taxi situation here. There are two types, mini buses and cabs, the latter are more or less the German taxi and by African standards is heavily overpriced. For the minibuses that have defined destinations, you pay a flat fee and may at any time to get off or, in principle it is a mixture of bus and taxi. This can be very funny, because people here like to fill their cart once to the stop and the taxi driver (definitely deserved) for her ruthless style of driving are infamous. The matter takes on a different drive but if you look at the competition this private taxi companies. The competition for passengers, to be controlled territory and other military issues sometimes leads to real taxi wars. It looks like that the taxi drivers "drive-by shooting" shoot-rata between the rival coaches, held Massenschlaegereien and the taxi companies tend same criminal organizations as service providers. On the one hand, I think it's quite funny because this is so incredibly perverse, on the other hand, listens to the fun, but if the whole thing with rear seat passengers in it happened. The cousin of Zee is killed. At least that is the situation in parts of Johannesburg, Pretoria is - as always - relatively harmless. Therefore, it is no problem to use the minibus taxis here and apart from the often anti-social behavior Taxi drivers and their very aggressive marketing strategy, it is a relaxed affair.
. Here is now concluded that I must move slowly laminate namely times now! I think of you, even though I may not show regular message and I hope that you properly for me have mitgetrunken at the Oktoberfest!

Piiiiiiiiiiiz,
Fabi

PS: Here is (somewhat belatedly) the video of the Mamelodi-Trip:
